Same rules apply - if this is the part you want to audition for, please print it out and bring it with you along with a brief resume, including contact information and a head shot!
If you’re planning on auditioning, please print these off and bring them with you. We will likely have you read for all parts, even if you really have one you want more than the others. This is to get an idea of your overall abilities based on what we need.
Remember, auditions are TUESDAY JANUARY 5, 2010 at 6 P.M. at the Creamery Arts Center here in Springfield. If you want to audition, please RSVP here to the Facebook event so we can get a basic head count. If you don’t have a Facebook account, email us at ordinaryaveragelife@gmail.com.

And so begins the absolute creep-out fest that is Marble Hornets. You can watch the whole web series thus far (22 entries) here. It’s maybe a grand total of about 45 minutes of your life. It’s some seriously good storytelling. And some seriously innovative methods.
I’m hooked, as are my fellow Exec Producers for OAL, highly recommended by the OAL/On A Whim Team!
He’s just looking for a Good Time.
Age: 23
Occupation: Personal Trainer
Interests: Energy drinks, Smoothies, Sports - especially his Fantasy Synchronized Swimming League
Personal Quote: “Everyone should be as awesome as me.”

Rocky learns to use his webcam.

Rocky’s fantasy Synchronized Swimming team just lost in the Fantasy Final Four.
We had our December production meeting, in anticipation of our January 15-17 shoot. We’ll be shooting the pilot then, which amounts to the first four webisodes.
In the meantime we’ll be casting for four male parts in the Springfield, MO area. These will be regular recurring roles, requiring a one weekend a month commitment and the ability to make most if not all, weekly production meetings. (We are flexible on that) We are looking for ages 21-29, any and all “looks”
If you are interested, please send a headshot, contact information, and summary of experience to ordinaryaveragelife@gmail.com!
Happy Holidays from all of us here at On A Whim Productions!
Working on the shooting schedule for the first four episodes…
Start getting excited everyone!
And don’t forget, we want your photos and tales of YOUR Ordinary Average Life…
Also, you can donate money to our cause by clicking the donate button up there in the left hand corner of your screen!
But hey, we know what it’s like to be broke, so we’ll also accept donations of props and time, and especially food. If you’d like to feed us while we shoot, send us an email at ordinaryaveragelife@gmail.com… you can submit your photos and stories there too…
We’ll post the photos and stories we get and who knows, you might even make it into the show (we’re going to have plenty of space to cast some extras and bit parts as we move along)
We’re also working on a fundraiser to be held sometime just after the new year. We’ll be doing some kind of contest and the grand prize will be - Beatles Rock Band!
More details to come!
Well, we’ve made it REALLY easy for you…
Just click that ‘Donate’ button up there in the left hand corner of the screen and send us whatever you want to - it’s all through paypal, so you know it’s secure!
We’ll take whatever you want to give from one to a million bucks and heck, we’ll probably even take your pocket lint!
Don’t want to send us money but still want to help out?
That’s okay, too. Any money we receive will go directly toward production costs, not personal gain. But if you would rather help out in other ways, we’d be willing to accept time - if you want to offer some man hours to the production shoot us an email…
We’d also take donations of props (we’ll get a list going on here soon!)…
We’d also take food donations because let’s face it, there’s nothing worse than a hungry production crew…
And if none of those seem like something you want to donate, but you still want to help out… just send us an email or leave a comment with whatever it IS that you want to give us!
That email address is: ordinaryaveragelife@gmail.com
And if you send us a monetary donation, don’t be surprised to find some small token of our appreciation in your snail mail box within two weeks or so of making the donation… see, we aren’t just beggars, we are appreciative beggars!
We here at Ordinary Average Life will be launching our brand new web series in late January 2010.
We’re excited are you?
Well, if you’re not, we hope you soon will be.
We’ll be posting lots of goodies in the next month about our progress and what we’re up to, so be sure to bookmark this site and check back often! We’ve got big plans and we’ll be taking over the Interwebs soon…
But in the meantime…
We want YOU to get involved!
So send us photos and stories about YOUR Ordinary Average Life!
Submissions will be accepted at ordinaryaveragelife@gmail.com or you can post them in the comments here or you can head over to our Facebook fan page and post them there!
Each week, and maybe day, we’ll see how we’re feeling… we’ll post the ones that entertain us the most, intrigue us or generally make us LOL.
If we really like what you send us, maybe you’ll be lucky enough to be featured in one of our episodes, so when you send in your submissions be sure to let us know the best way to contact you!
And stay tuned to this site… we might just surprise you with prizes like candy and goodies and maybe some Interweb stardom!
So start submitting! No rules for this game, just make sure what you send is rated PG-13 or lower… we reserve the right NOT to post submissions for any reason and we promise to give credit where credit is due!
In case you were wondering…
Ordinary Average Life isn’t just any old web series.
Ordinary Average Life is brought to you by the writers/producers/performers/sidekicks/pet frogs/plastic instruments who brought you the first hit music video by International phenomenon/former a cappella group/fake rock band Buckshot, The Whale.
